WTB: Non Sunroof roof skin (midwest)

Hello All,

I am considering replacing my roof skin that has a sunroof with a non sunroof skin and I was wondering if anyone near WI had an E30 they were parting out that I could get the skin off of. This maybe a long shot but I thought I would through it out there. Shoot me a PM if you have one, thanks!

Good luck, all US spec e30s except for the 1991 318is came standard with sunroofs. The 318is with a slick top is hard to find also, but talk to Jake Rawsome, he lives near you and drives a slick top red 318is thats a bit rusty.

Or you can buy a new skin from your local dealer.

I called yesterday and they are NLA and there are none left in US or germany :(

I'm fairly certain that the 1991 4dr 318i also was available without a sunroof.

I know of one on a 4 door in a junk yard about 2 hours from my home town.
Honestly I have no idea what they would charge for it if it was to be cut off.
But dont you think it would be alot less work and trouble to just weld in the sunroof panel and smooth it out? Its been done many times and looks great.

Possibly. But if possible I would like to use a full OEM roof. Do you have a name or number for the place with the car?

Keep in mind, the sunroof panel is oem. Just welded in place. ;)

No problem. Tell them when you walk into the front gate its in the left corner area and its black..
Its a 91 318I, should be the only e30 in the yard..
