Help save my brother's e30!!!!

SO here's the deal. My brother bought a 1990 325i about 2 years ago, but the timing belt snapped, and trashed the head. So, he rebuild a head, and put the car back together only to have it burn oil like a mamba jam, and so it's sat for about a year or so. Right now he's in Utah for a course in something for the Army (he's in the Reserves) and my dad wants to either get it fixed within the next couple weeks, or just get rid of it. Personally I'm all for getting it fixed, cause I know i'd be overjoyed if I came home to a fixed car lol.

Anywho, to make a long story short I'm looking for an m20b25 block in or around the South Jersey area, that's in good shape, or has been rebuild recently. I mean we have a block here but to honest, I have no idea how many miles are on it or the condition of the internals. Don't really need the head, but if it's already attached then whatev's. If he has the ability to get an engine back from utah. I know of a very nice motor for ya just north of salt lake city. It's not far from him if he's at Tooele. Engine came from an 89is, 122k on the clock, recently rebuilt head that was ported and polished, timing belt changed. VERY clean and nice motor.
