    WTB: OEM Hitch (Metal bumpers)

Looking for an OEM hitch for my 88 325is.

From what I have read they dont require any drilling like the aftermarket ones do?

Not looking to tow with it but to mount bike racks to.

    Anyone got one?

Never seen a hitch that didn't require drilling.

By OEM are you talking about the "horse cock" style hitch???

Not sure. I just thought there were OEM hitch mounts that use the bumper mounts as a blot on point. (or something like that)

Is drilling holes in the spare tire well the only way to attached a hitch?

This is what I think you're looking for, but I've NEVER seen one in person, and it looks like it takes the place of the bumper.

Price comes up as ~$250 if you want to try to source a new one from a dealership....

And note that the hitch has a fixed ball, not sure how you'd mount a bike rack to that, all the bike racks I've seen mount into a square receiver hole.

Looks like it would be easy enough to fab something up out of square tubing, but then you wouldn't have a rear bumper.
