    WTB: z3 M52B28 Alum Block

Wouldn't mind if it had the crank too, don't really care about the pistons or con rods...

Have a cheap M52 bare iron block if you can't find anything

^ I think he is looking specifically for the purpose of lower weight, and I think he isn't looking for cheap, just exact.

I know.. but it's not any easy feat finding a good alum. block, so figured I'd throw that out there

There is one on eBay complete with Pistons/Crank for 400$ but it's in PA, might be able to get a good deal if you are up for a drive OP

I think I found the one you are talking about on ebay, sadly it looks like a m52tu not the m52b28.

thanks but I need the m52b28 not the m52tu. It has to be out of a early z3...

Same block I'm pretty sure? It's used in the Z3 as well, it's a 2.8L

The m52tu is dual vanos and the m52b28 is single vanos. Everything I've read says that they do not mix sadly.

Thanks for looking out though! The block needs to be z3 from 96-98 iirc.
