best bet would be to just buy a set of springs from gorund control.

i have done many suspensions in my time and as i see its the only way to get it as stiff as possible. i need it like a rock. i have almost all the bars in it. front strut, rear strut, under brace bar for the front, 25&22 mil sways. camber kits . well lest just say ive put a lot into it and i want it perfect.

I inquired with Intrax in '08, I believe it was. I have the email at work, I'll post it here tomorrow.
IIRC, they wanted 900 Euros (yeah, $$$$$) for a fully customized rear set. They said they were a race proven setup, and could set it up however I wanted. Wish I could say that I have it now, but it just hasn't happened yet.

it takes time i learned out on a track that i could get my little crx through the wall lol and would drive it to its limit and past on my tein setup. and i learned to tune my suspension. i want mine to be badass but basic at the same time (less to worry about) send me the info i would like to take a look i have friends over there and can get it maybe a little less ill be over there anyways summer in moscow i can always get it shipped to my girls and she can hold on to it for me. thanks bud

Look into GAZ. Also european, but they make rear coils that aren't "custom-made $$$ yo".

Also, you will need to reinforce your rear shock towers, especially if you want it to be as stiff as you say.

What spring rates are you running now? You want it stiff but yet SIMPLE, converting to rear full coilover is not simple.... lol

You can get very still rates, what shocks are you running and exactly what spring rates now on the car?

This was an email I received from sales@intraxracing.nl in July of '09
                          Hello Adam,

Thanks for your enquiry. Yes, we are a specialized shock absorber company and can build everything you want and help you also with the advice. The E30 is a specialty for us, all over Europe People are riding and racing with our sets and winning. We build up to 10 cars a week and we do the whole conversion: front struts, rear shocks and for M3 also rollcenter and bumpsteer conversions.

Car suspension is always a tailor made thing. Best thing to do is that you tell me exactly what driving you do with the car and what mods you have done, and I can do a good advice for you.

Indeed, street is normally about 225 lbs on a coilover, bumpy track (street drivable) about 280 lbs and full trackday about 400lbs.

We have the RSA shocks, with adjustable damping, they are 950 Euro for a set of 2, like in the picture below.

A description can be found at (scroll down to RSA):

This would be the product I would advice, because with the wide range of adjustability you can always find a setting that will suit you.

Prices are in Euro’s excluding transport. I can get you a quote on the transport too, no problem.

Any pics or build photos of rear shock tower reinforcement? Does anyone sell a kit?

                            edit: nevermind.

Found this, and many of our favorite vendors supply the "plates", but I'm wondering how crazy you really have to get...

Just find what spring rates you want and double them for an E30. You're telilng me that you'd rather modifying things unnecessarily than do simple math?

If you want as stiff as possible, just weld the spring coils together.

                              Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!
