WTB: 84-87 used 5 speed driveshaft

Need early driveshaft from a manual, preferably in Socal. I am in LA and can pick up as far as San Diego or Santa Barbara. I imagine shipping would be too much, but if you are willing to ship PM me. Slightly worn with notchy u joints is fine as long as it does not vibrate at highway speeds and is not totally falling apart. If it clunks when you take off it is fine. I can put new CSB, if it's worn. I need a temporary solution until I will cough up $$$ for a BMW one.

please PM me if you have one. If you need almost new genuine ETA Turner chip with manual, etc I can trade it for a DS.

    Thanks,
    Max

          Thanks for checking Levent.
          Hurttech, I PM'd you.
StereoInstaller1, I think I've had my share of rebuilt parts. Out of 2 both are bad. Was stupid enough to buy brake calipers for e21, one blew 2000 miles from home 2 weeks later... Driveshaft for $350 is definitely crap, so bad I parked the car, I don't want to destroy diff/ transmission bearings, not to mention irritating rumble. I either buy a used one or get a BMW DS which will last me another 200K or more, not a bad deal considering quality.

            Mx,

I have an '84 325e DS with no CSB but good splines and everything ran beautiful for the 20,000 I put on it (184xxx when scrapped/parted).

            $100 + shipping.
            Need a part? PM me.

Ok bump and an update on this. I need a DS from 5/86- 9/87. Nothing else will work...

              So 85 or 84 won't work...

              Thanks

I've got one from an 87, no csb... Here's a pic

Wheelgap is like a vagina. The more fingers you get in, the worse it is.

Do you have a pic of the front section?
                  What month of 87?

                  Thanks

I can take another pic tomorrow, and honestly I don't know what month the car was built. It was off an 87 325iS that I f'd up the front suspension on and parted it out. I will check it for any info and numbers and get back to you.

Check the size of the bolts in the front ( guibo bolts), if you could measure diameter of the center ( where the bushing is) and tell me if it has big or small guibo it would be great. Do you know if it had newer CSB?

                      Thanks,
