WTB: Center console for automatic with winter selector switch

    Hi all,

Looking for a good condition center console for the automatic trans e30. It needs to have the little hole for the winter/summer selector. Don't need the whole thing, just the piece around the ebrake. Please send pictures to e30vert@hotmail.com

I dont believe that this thing exists for E30s, pretty sure it started with the E36.

    I could be wrong though.

Are you talking about heated seat switches?

Take a look at your owners manuals! These are always available when I don't need them and never around when I do. Tisk...tisk...

                    ^ this

I have one from a e24/e28 that snaps on to the shifter frame, perhaps you can mod it to fit on an e30?

That's weird, I always thought E30 transmission were hydraulically controlled not ECU controlled.

hmm, ive never seen one of those before. Does anyone on this forum even have that option?

Maybe its a euro thing only... like on one of those later model verts.

when I was looking for a new one about a year ago the one with the selector switch is all anybody had. Don't know what cars came originally equipped with these, but they are sure handy.
Doesn't sound like anyone has this bad boy so who's got a regular one they want to part with? Good shape and all...
Thanks for all the posts :)
