    WTB: Fan clutch wrench tools

Looking for fan clutch wrench tools for m20 fan clutch. Would be nice if someone has both wrench and the pulley holder, I'm not a fan of the screw driver method.

    Thanks

I used a 10" adjustable crescent wrench last time I did mine and it worked fine. Mac also makes a slim 32?mm wrench that works well.

Hit up the local bike shop, ask for a hub wrench. They should have one in 32mm or 32/34. These wrenches are very thin, perfect for the fan and shouldnt cost more than $10.

Headset wrench from a bike shop is a 32/34 BUT they are usually fairly short. I bought a long 32mm fan clutch wrench from Matco a year or 2 ago but I have no idea how much it was.

So I saw this on bigcoupe.com and it looked cool (not affiliated with seller or product):

              from: http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12710

I make these in my garage, just finished mine this evening.

bike wrench works fine, unless the last asshole that worked on the car overtightened the shit out of the fan clutch.

I'm going to try getting one at the bike shop after work then. The problem is still of course holding the damn thing still. Whoever did the fan clutch on my e34 tightened it down way too much. fuckers.

8" version, very slim profile. One of my most used tools, really sharp edges and holds adjustment very well.

                        Keep it slideways!!

the last car i did with an overtightened fan clutch i had to put vicegrips on the nut, the lever from a jack on the end of the vicegrips, and a big fucking screwdriver in the bolts of the pully. bike wrench can blow me.
