Probably depends on your plates, not sure.

Some interfere and won't work. Some raise the hat so far up into the shock tower that you can't adjust them - the hat will hit the tower and not have room to move.

No - that's richard97(?) - his are custom made and deeper. Really great looking part. You can also sell his drophats to the e90 guys when you are done - IIRC they use them too.

And I think there is a bit of a difference in the spring geometry. PM him - he's super helpful.
