Tbolt has a beat up set of vert seats. Maybe he will part them out.

Out of curiousity, what do the vert heating elements look like? I've got some for seats with the vertical stitching, but haven't seen how the vert ones fit...

I think aftermarket would be the way to go. To be a PITA, tedious work trying to get the OEMs installed.

not on the vert seats. it has two horizontal wide panels which fit between the two seat cushions. they are different from coupe. These are not strips but two pads for each section of seat. upper and lower.

Just in case any non-vert seat people were in here, I actually don't think it's a pain for the vertical striped seats either. Looking at the ones I've got, they have a hood at the end of each strip which looks to be how they install them from the factory. They just have a rod they put in the hood and then shove them down the bottom and top cushions. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes or maybe 15min if you're being extra cautious.

Yeah, I've done that before at some point; one just needs a little patience. Pretty straight forward application. :-)

So I finally picked up the drivers side warmer from the junkyard and after taking it out I see there are 2 burnt spots in the fabric with a grey wire showing...

One looks a bit kinked, but they weren't melted or exposing any wire. I'm a bit new to seat heaters, but from what I can tell, these are just wires and I could splice it and wrap the patch in header wrap or some other sort of tape made for high heat.

...or do these things just burn the material in some spots when the elements are fine? I haven't checked the foam in those spots yet, but the leather wasn't burnt through or anything.
