WTB: MHW smoked Late model tails

These prices are all over the board so consider this a feeler. Looking for smoked MHW's for a late model depending on the price. These are rare so I figured I would start asking around as I would like to have these once spring rolls around.

I too want these once I do my 5spd swap, sub'd just to see what prices are like nowadays. I figure $450ish still?

Last set I saw was $400. Seems to be anywhere from 350-450 depending on condition. Just damn impossible to find!

Exactly, I want to scoop a set up to "complete the look" while I still can...and with my car being basically the same other than mine having smoked ellips, smoked turns, wheels, and another pair of doors you know that "gotta get them before they're REALLY gone" feeling I've been having.

Yeah I should have bought them when I first got my E30 instead of waiting. It seemed like there was a lot more around then.

You can still find them on ebay.de though, but with the conversion costs you're looking at a lot more than $450...

I too wish to own a set of these one day, they'd really finish off my bronzit perfectly. $499 for the pair (one with a scratch) on ebay right now. Thinking I may just paint and tint my stockers to make a damn close replica...

I've made the guy on Ebay some offers on the 499 ones. There is a chunk out of the corner. He won't take much less then his 499. AND he wants $50 for shipping. That is overpriced....for me at least.

Yea, I put an offer in too... wayyy to much. But, when they're apparently the only ones available anywhere I guess you can set your own price.

They have been for sale for MONTHS. You think he would figure out it's not worth that much.

I'm thinking of spraying some smoked paint over the red rectangles above and below the reverse light, then throwing a nice tint over the whole light. Maybe go with a tint that's slightly brown/smoked. Now only if I had some free time...
