    WTB: Getrag 260 transmission

I'm located in central Illinois. I'm fine with paying shipping. Give me some quotes and details!

Rumor is that fedex in a box is cheapest. There are different prices depending on business vs residence at the shipping/destination ends.

What's ur zip and I can look at some shipping options...

From quick research I found Fedex is probably the best. Here's what I found:

If your shipping to a residential address,
they will attempt to have you do it as 'FedEx Home Delivery',
those limits are considerably lower and do not allow for the
transaxle to be shipped within them. Just ship it as ground
and they will tack on a small ~$2 residential delivery surcharge,
                which isn't bad.

The best part? Everything gets tracked every step along the
way, you can watch the parts going across the country without
having to speak to anybody on the phone.

I'm in Missouri, and you can have the one from my 90 325i.75 bucks. We will meet for a beer.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
                    Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

                        True and Not true.

Shipping via Fedex Ground/Home Delivery has worked well for me. BUT, you can't specify if you want it to go via Ground or Home Delivery, it depends on the location of the delivery address. If it's a true business address, it will go Ground, if it's a residence, it will go Home Delivery.
