    WTB throwout bearing sleeve

    looking for a throwout bearing guide sleeve for a getrag 240...mine has deep grooves around it and I dont feel like spending the $200 for a new from the dealer or part supplier.
    1991 318is --- currently not road worthy

      Grooves don't matter.

      Smooth it out with sandpaper/emory cloth and toss the bitch back together.

        some of they are like 3/32" deep, and if i can find one used in better shape for short money I might as well throw it in there, i dont want the T/O bearing to fail on me prematurely b/c of it.....but if theres none to be found, thats exactly what'll I'll be doing...thanks!

          is this the same as an m20 one? i have a low mileage tranny with a broken gear, can take it off if its the same.

            realoem has different part numbers for m20 and m42....thanks tho
