WTB: Known good, tested, perfect M50 Starter

    Hey guys,
starter on my s52 car is crapping out on me. Any 24v starter should be fine. Want to buy one that you know works as it should and hasn't been sitting around for 5 years if possible. If you're in the northeast or going to gutenfest, even better. Give me a shout!

They are 206 new at dealer, and 153 from autozone lifetime warranty. Bosch rebuilt

That starter is used in cross the board E36's.

it's true, I still need one. Gonna see if someone comes in cheaper or has one that's slightly used before I spring for an unknown history 92 starter. Also mine has gotten better recently, freewheels less often. I've heard of a lot of autozone rebuilds being bad out of the box or crapping out in short order, so I'd rather go with a lowish miles original honestly. Thanks though greg

Are automatic and 5 speed starters different on m50/m52's?
