I have a walbro pump that is fairly new. Not for an in tank setup, but only you know what you are wanting it for!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

A new TRE 255lph pump that you can mod yourself is like $80 shipped.

        Hey Ben,

If I buy a TRE do I use my old apparatus, it's basically just the motor right? Is there any hitches that I need to worry about, or is it pretty much straight forward.
        Thanks for your help

Exactly, just the motor is replaced and the old apparatus is used. I believe the writeup is for a M42 318i, but the principal is the same.

TREperformance sells high pressure 255 LPH fuel pumps for all BMW vehicles including the E30. These performance pumps will fit any BMW E 30 and flow 255LPH and support 500hp.
