    WTB: *MINT* E30 manual coupe

I'm located in eastern MA, willing to drive within a reasonable distance to check it out, but I'd also fly out to anywhere in the continental U.S. to pick it up if it's condition can be verified by at least one other trusted forum member.

    ----------------------------------
My main goals are to find an E30 with:
Clean title - no accident history - preferably with previous owners' maintainence records

Manual transmission (if it's an automatic it had better be showroom clean)

9-10/10 paint and body condition **NO RUST AT ALL ANYWHERE**

Driveable now, able to pass inspection without any major work

Modded, bone stock, high miles... I don't care as long as it's a two door coupe doesn't need a lot of mechanical work and the paint/body are excellent.

I'm not too picky about interior colors/texture/condition. That stuff can be swapped out easily.

Preferably not bronzit-beige at all, and not white if it's a pre-88. I don't have a color preference otherwise.

Will consider almost all models. Early 318i, 325e... I don't care as long as it meets the other criteria closely.
    ----------------------------------

I'm sick of driving rusted out New England cars. I have the money and am willing to pay for a truly clean non-M E30.
Please PM with any offers/good leads. Thanks.

Thanks for all the leads guys. Wow. It's hard to find clean E30s for sale on my own, but when you simply ask they come out of nowhere.

Thanks Stu, I saw that. I'd consider that "over-the-top dollar."

Well he does say it was painted recently, so I'm not surprised.
But that's a 4-door sedan anyways. Not really what I'm looking for.

Searching again. My dream car was pulled off the market 3 days before I would have picked it up :(

Thanks for the help Scott, and everyone else that's helped.

I'm lowering my standards as I simply do not want to drive my current E30 anymore. I actually had some luck today finding somewhat clean cars in the Boston area. Just need to hear back from a few people. I'll keep the thread updated. But I am STILL LOOKING! Don't hide any deals from me, guys.

Bump to Jarvis, I yanked his dream car from him as I could not let go of her. Help this guy out with a nice e30 from what I heard he has had bad luck with rusty New England shells. Andrew again I am sorry I feel like such a dick.

It's ok Brian. I can't really blame you for wanting to keep the car. I was really pissed at first, but it's all good now. I'm actually sort of relieved. I would have spent 100% of my budget buying the car, and then I would have been paranoid all the time worrying about keeping it mint.
Please enjoy the car and feel free to let me know when you do decide to part with her!

PS: Post some of those pictures here on R3V. 95% of the board will lose their shit when they see it.

Have you been hitting roadfly, CL, and Roundel?

If not, you should.. I've seen more than enough e30's listed in the roundel in excellent condition.

Craigslist is also easy enough to use. Hit every major city and you should find at least 5 e30s in less than a half hour.

Unless you just want to stick to enthusiast's forums.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you, though. I know it's not fun, but it's also something you don't want to rush into.. took me over a month to find the e28 that I wanted for the price I wanted.. and that's not even an "in-demand" ride, lol..
