Just bought a vert and i found out that I have a leak on the driver side tank!! This sucks but I really need one so please hit me up if you have one for sale. Thanks
I have one I'll be removing from my coupe, it does have a dent in the bottom but is leak free! Im local and can deliver it to Los Angeles area for $100 or meet up for for $80
I am dealing with the same issue. Mine had a leak in the metal line welded to tank. I ran a bypass line (brake line). Now the hose is penching at the top causing no gas movement. I should have been bent line a little at the end. I did subframe, trailarm, brake lines and new hoses. I have drop tank again this weekend.
hmm.. I'm not sure if it is the metal line right there that comes out of the tank. When i jack it on the right side and look for the leak on the left there is a lot of fuel being lost around that pipe piece area. I have not yet dropped the tank and just assuming the worse. Hey GT, how hard was it to drop the tank bro?
PITA..... use a car lift. This is one job that I would have paid for to get done. Lots of beer, food, 5 hour energy drinks, music and buddy to share the blood, sweat, laughs and profanity. I spent my WHOLE labor day weekend with only 6 hours sleep. Also last Saturday and still not done. I wanted to be done so I can drive to maryland for meetup.
I noticed mine leaked from by the fuel filter. I used a smoke machine on the lines.

I doubt its the line.. It will only smell like raw fuel when the tank is pretty full and when I make rights. It will also leak pretty bad when I jack the left side of the car.. Can you give me more details about dropping the tank if possible.. It seems like I have to remove the diff, axle and drive shaft. Havn' had enough time to even think about starting this project..
Did you remove the cover for the fuel pump located under the rear seat? Are you doing subframe bushing?

Yeah that is what my cousin and I said.
Off the top of my head disconnect battery and drain gas. Then remove exhaust, drive shaft(connecting to diff), metal exhuast sheild, shock bolt, brakes, brake lines on subframe, park brake, two bolts and bracket on both side of car (when you look at the subframe bushing you will see it). Then disconnect fuel lines from top and side by fuel filter. I think that was all. Pelican has a writeup. Just search remove subframe.
