    WTB: m30b35

    im looking for an m30b35 blown or not. its going to be rubuilt so it dosent really matter. looking to spend no more then a few hundred or atleast a reasonable amount depending on condition. its going into an e30 and im looking to get this done asap. PM me if anyone knows of any. thankx r3v

    junkyards near me have em at around $200 pulled with no warranty.

    But it's probably cheaper to buy a known running/tested motor for a little more because although you might luck out a junker motor may have costly hidden wear and/or damage as I've discovered.

      I plan on ripping the hole motor apart and redoing it regardless as long as there's no head or block issues I'm fine with it, what junk yard are you talking about and is it in the ct area?

        well a yard near me in Chicopee is Center Auto Parts. A lot of high mileage M30's that have not been well maintained in their later years have spider cracks around the coolant jackets and head cracks and worn cam journals, etc.

        I suggest posting an ad on myE28 for a good running motor.
