WTB: Lowering Springs (H&R Sport or similar)

I would like to buy a set of lowering springs (Alpina, ACS, Hartge, Racing Dynamics, H&R Sport) or something similar. I'm looking for springs that have quite a bit higher spring rate, without dropping it too low (40mm or so for the front.) Let me know what you've got!

    Thanks

None of the springs you mention have "quite a bit higher spring rate" , they are just a little stiffer than stock.

        Stock 325is----------------------118------------------------265

        Dinan Sport-----------------------172------------------------300
        H&R Sport-------------------------180------------------------380
        Alpina(est.)---------------------~200-----------------------~350
        Vogtland--------------------------225--------------------------360

"Quite a bit higher" is relative. Regardless I'm looking for a used set to try out for awhile to decide if I want to go coilovers, H&R Race, or stay the same.

This is true, I just put H&R Sports on my car and was surprised how similar it felt to stock. I changed to H&R Races after a couple weeks. I will be selling one set, haven't decided yet, it really depends on how you use the car.

If you decide to sell the Sports let me know. Did the Races show a big reduction in body roll? The only thing I'm worried about is the M42 oil pan on rough Texas roads.

BIG reduction in body roll, say 80-90% gone. I'm still on stock sways. Also basically eliminated squat and dive. That being said, you also can feel the texture of the road and if the road is rough (like shitty city roads) the ride is rough.

If i go back the the sports i think i will put bigger sways on.

What shocks are you going to run?

I've got Billy HD's right now, so I'd like to keep those with the new springs for awhile, when they go I'll probably change to Billy Sports.
