Willing to let the Eibachs go alone? I'm looking for a used budget spring drop for my 325es.

Cutting springs may be marginally acceptable for the front but not for the rears. That's if I want to live.

I've cut the springs on two E30s, perfectly fine ride, a tad stiffer than stock, and never had a single issue after doing it.

OP do not cut your springs like a vwvortex low life, You can get a decent budget set up that is low enough and still handles the way an e30 should

Right, I'm a VWVortex low life. I don't even like slammed cars or anything of that nature, you should think before you trash talk people that you don't even know.

Judging by your post you've never done it, the ride is as smooth as stock, which sucks because in my opinion the point of lowering a car would be to also add some additional stiffness but for those just wanting to look good you can't really beat it, handles the same, rides the same, win win.

how are your shocks? I want to trade my eibachs with what I think are tokicos (PO put them on) for a stock setup with decent shocks.

I love the way it looks and rides on the street, but I want to get into rally type stuff.

The only thing is my car is my DD so I can't go more than a weekend without it.

I never said you were a vwvortex low life I just said its something they would do. And your right I never have cut my springs but thats because I dont believe in mods that produce the combination of bottoming out and making my car handle worse than it does stock. I've driven an e30 with cut springs and a few vws, it sucked IMO.
