    WTB: 6-button clock/temp. unit

Not the fancy OBC, but the simpler eta car unit. Mine is going belly up. Thanks.

Why not go fancy 13 obc? I have one from an eta so it has the right coding plug. Got the stalk and harness too.

So, robrez: would the fancier 13-button OBC plug and play pretty easily? How much for one of those?? thx.

Lotsa info. here. http://ww.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100249 and here http://www.strictlyeta.net/technical/obcretrofit.html

I didn't do my research and bought a retrofit kit from an eta. Turns out it will cost me more than I paid for the whole kit to get the proper coding plug for my m42 car. PM me if you are interested.

I have both a 6 button and 18 button obc.

both work, just not sure about the back light.

              10 shipped each?
