Ok, now im confused. it says this is the lense for bumper mount. I cant find the ones that mount in the plastic lower valence. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E30-E28-...ht_3780wt_1177

Only if you want to aim them! From your original question, sounds like you need the entire lamp, front bezel, and surround. If the E28 fogs for the is/M5 front spoiler WILL work, you can also hunt down the ones for the E30 M3 front spoiler. These lights are more expensive lately and more difficult to find used in good condition.
The BMW spoiler has plastic blocks to the left & right of the openings for the light housings (on the backside) to screw into - I don't know about the RD spoiler. Have you checked with Electrodyne, who sells the RD spoiler?
