just a heads up, e36 masters fit IX boosters, lines fit with a little bending but no big deal. I believe regular E36 boosters have slightly bigger piston diameter than regular E30's, and M3's are 25.6mm IIRC so basically like the 750 booster upgrade.

I'm parting out my 88ix. I have the shift linkage and the brake master cyl w/resevuoir. Email me at edjrmail@gmail if interested.

I've got an ix master as well, if the previous one doesn't work out make an offer :)

Any will fit (e34's maybe too), but find the master on realoem and it'll tell you the size of the piston in the details field. from memory, e30's are 23mm, I think regular e36's are 23.8mm, 95 m3 25mm, 96-99m3 25.4mm. Bigger piston area = less pedal travel but more pedal effort, ie stiffer pedal.
