    WTB: someday, maybe, an m42

Just wondering how much I would be spending for a complete motor plus CPU and harness. And, if anyone in New England has one for sale. I want to put one in my 318i.

I know someone who has one right here in MA.
    Cheap, whole thing. Engine/tranny/ecu/harness/coil pack

    Probably needs a head gasket.
Interested? It would be better if it could leave sooner vs. later I think....

probably needs a headgasket eh? Did it run before being pulled? What kind of money we talking about here? Oh yeah, and where would it be located?

        Peabody MA.
Ran fine, only just began to consume small amount of coolant within the last 2 weeks.

        $200
        includes:
Tranny, ECU, Wiring Harness, Engine, Coil Pack, Intake, etc. Lots of stuff, almost everything.

I can vouch for the engine - it was running the last time I saw it ;)

          What went in Langsten?

New head gasket or profile gasket, if it hasn't been done.

no for the mileage..if it is a profile gasket, i would assume its a fairly fresh motor?
