a oem clutch and lightweight flywheel for my e36 m3 was like 450 or so i think.
      Not sure
Run the china crap and tell me about it later.

I'll stick with my genuine bmw flywheel and genuine bmw clutch disc and pressure plate. Not looking for an explosion in my 6 speed bell or to loose my ankle in a pressure plate explosion

Like previously mentioned the s52 clutch complete assembly with dual mass is plug and play.

My 1985 vintage alpina m20 has a 2011 335i twin turbo clutch+modern dual mass flywheel bolted to it with genuine bmw bolts. Like bmw intended, its a perfect daily driver clutch through bay area traffic. Takes turbo power just as bmw intended. Weight of complete setup was pretty much same as the m20 single mass I removed.

Do you really want to cheap out that hard on something annoying as f**k to replace?

The 135/335/535 unit is a great Oem bmw turbo clutch proven to over 400rwhp by many e92's.

Dual mass flywheel is nice for the driveline. Perhaps install a transmission worth caring about???
      OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30

      Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine

Ok captain personal experience. Please share why you have such hatred rather than spewing crap that has no basis. Have you personally used one? Doesn't sound like it.

It's quite naive to judge something without having tested or researched it.

This kit has been tested by many people in many different cars and it appears to be a quality product.
No explosions or severed body parts mentioned yet.

Because knock off cheap china parts are just that. Use at your own risk? Why defend mainland china Who cares - they obviously don't care about helping our battered USA economy.

I've used a f1 clutch set in a different car- it felt terrible; little modulation and rough engagement. My e30 does not support mainland china; it supports the bay area and pays for German parts when USA made American parts are not avail.

I have one f1 setup complete (fly+disc+pp+tob) sitting here from a friends car, it's finish quality is terrible. ( dowels, bolt holes). You can have it for free $0 if you want to come pick it up- I won't be running it.

I've driven a s52 full fly and clutch set in a m20/g260 (e30 touring wagon) and it was great in third world country traffic. This is personal experience with genuine bmw parts.

Sure, it's. "word of mouth tested"

There is a local here that would say differently, I'm not going to bash a product anymore. It's amusing to see how the r3v crowd will trust an aftermarket china eBay item but not trust a genuine bmw part they might already have got for free with a s52 engine swap set.

Bmw parts are nice and fit perfect. I guess the rev crowd gets sore when cheap parts insulted (revahit etc)

Well I guess we will see what happens.
I have two friends one with a turbo e36 m3 who is running one and loves it.
Another local turbo e30 friend is running one without problem.

              Thanks for your opinion though.
If you something happens, you can laugh and say i told you so.

Got my clutch kit today and guess what?
The pressure plate is Clearly Stamped LUK

IIRC LUK is a BMW OEM

I don't think thats going to be exploding.

And the clutch disk looks and feels of quality.

I had a friend buy the stage 3 F1 clutch and he HATED it. He had to even get a new one only like 2k miles after installing it.
I've read a lot of good things about the clutchmaster brand. Its more reliable, I think, and a much more known brand than the F1. Search it up on ebay.

Honestly that was probably due to an improper install or some other fact.

If not, there will always be a few bad examples of a product. We will see what happens.

He's a mechanic and has his own shop with his dad.. Everything was installed right. I already forgot why he had to get a new one, but it wasn't because he just didn't like it, but because something was wrong with it.
