    Need late model RF fender for coupe

    In Socal. I'm in Sherman Oaks but the car is in San Diego right now.

      Bump. Don't care about the color as long as it looks reasonably like a fender and doesn't have massive rust.

      Friggin Spec Miata did this to me:

          Just an FYI : All fenders are the same and interchange with the exception of the convertible fenders.

          E30 M3 / E30 325is / E34 525iT / E34 535i

            You can also get aftermarket fenders from Rockauto for $50.

                  OK, here is the story. I was given a set of early '86 ETA fenders for my black car. I could not figure out how to mount them, as they would not come even close to the body of the car.

                  Looking carefully at the side of the chassis itself, there is a bulge on the later (3/87+) on both sides, basically directly in front of the door.

                  I trimmed a couple inches off so they fit, but I never sealed them against the body, so the fender liners didn't work (junk always piles up in the door jam, near the electrical connector.

                  So now, I have an early '84 car and another set of fenders. If it has issues, I will take pics of the problem.

                  You guys do know there is one hell of a difference in fender liners too, right?
