WTB: m20engine + 5speed tranny

Hello guys, im looking for a complete and running engine for my 1975 2002. Preferably a m20 with all the basic parts if something is missing no worries the internet is big to find parts. It must be able to run though.

Im also looking for a 5 speed tranny that fits the m20

let me know if anyone has one out there engine/tranny

I have an eta m20 if you're interested. It ran roughly before I pulled the tranny (it had been sitting for a while so some vacuum lines could be bad). It should have most everything you need. It came off of a euro 325e with 152k on it.

im looking to spend enough so the car runs good. I dont know what these usually sell for. im a price wise on engines. i saw some for 800$ rebuilt, some for 1 grand rebuilt so im looking in the margin of around 500$ to around 1 grand.

@Drewe30e is that hard to be repaired with the vacume lines ? i dont want any more useless parts as i have 3 getrag trannys all 4 gear and one of them is working.

let me kno i already got an offer for a 5gear tranny getrag which im taking into consideration

Where are you located??? Shipping can easily double the price of an engine.

I've got a nice M20 FS from a 325i parts car near Raleigh NC.

I've got a 2.7 Euro stroker with tranny. Tranny is great, no grinds and shifts smooth. Stroker is all Euro, meaning higher compression plus has a schrick cam and headers. Pulls strong all the way to redline. Great running engine, just a lumpy idle with the hot cam. I pulled it from my E30 in Germany and the engine only had 110,000 km (about 60,000 miles) on it. Tranny and stroker...800 picked up. PM me if interested.

once I get mine (unknown time frame) I will have a m20b27 and getrag 260. Engine runs great, but has a small knock. trans grinds 3rd a lot and needs input shaft bearing. I would give both up for around $100. unknown miles

look on the 2002 forums im pretty sure thers some power addicts like me who want more power in their 02. But i noticed most of the guys want the original 02 ... so they restore it i guess for looks.
