    Parting out an 89 325i

I have a thread going on in the PNW regional forum, but I figured I should post here so everyone can see it. I am parting my car after an accident. I don't have a lot of time to do this, so I won't be pulling anything like engine, suspension etc.

If anyone is interested in buying the car, let me know. It has ~185k with a strong running engine before the accident. The head was rebuilt because I purchased this car with a broken timing belt. It has H&R sport springs and Bilstein sport shocks. I will sell the car very cheap as I have taken some stuff out of it already.

The cluster, OBC, mtech1 spoiler, euro grilles and euro plate filler are sold. I have a buyer lined up for the trunk lid and rear bumper, but no money in my hands, so they're not officially sold yet.

Everything else is available. It has factory iS side skirts and I've had some interest in those. Also has an mtech1 wheel, rear head rests w/hardware (or complete mint black vinyl rear seat), nice two-piece airbag knee bolster with the steering column piece that is necessary to run it, stock weaves with brand new tires (~1500 miles on them) etc. I just got the car back today, so I took just a few pictures so far. I will be pulling parts and taking more pictures tomorrow night, so I will update the thread and price everything out.

I just took some really quick pictures of a couple of things. I will be able to get better pictures and of much more parts tomorrow.

I have brand new rear subframe bushings that I didn't get a chance to install. Them are Lemforder, not some Autozone crap. $40/pair.

I also have the necessary hardware to replace your rusty ass exhaust hangers/hardware. This is all OEM replacement stuff, so price it out and see what they cost. $40 for it all.

Here are a couple quick pictures of the seats. They are dirty and still mounted in the car, so I can get better pictures if necessary once I get them pulled. They are from a 4 door e36 m3 and are heated. They come with the wiring pigtails and the e36 heated seat switches so you can wire them up. I wired them to the auxillary fuse in the fuse box and they worked great. $400 OBO

Here is the necessary parts for you to ditch that nasty telescoping antenna on your car that doesn't work. The base and antenna are from an e36/7 (z3 roadster) and the grommet is from an e36 318ti. Here is a write up I did on the install a while ago: CLICK. $50 OBO on that. I had a couple of the stubby antennas for it, so I will see if I can locate those to go with it. But honestly, it performs the best with the stock antenna.

That's it for now. Like I said, I'll have a bunch more stuff pulled tomorrow.

How about the steering wheel? Is it for sale? If so, what kind is it?

i.e. it's a necessary but somewhat unpleasant chore and they want something to make the task a little easier and insulate them from the process."

I have two center caps for the weaves. I am unsure what you are talking about with the sun room.
