Hmmmm. Looks to be for the e30 M3 only. F
Is this the case ? ? . . or can u get it to fit a non M e30?

Purchased both parts (21 and 22) but haven't quite figured out how they attach. ??

I'm thinking # 23 (diagram) is required to make this work? I was able to find the picture below here:

Yes, 22 and 23 snap together and they are both OEM on the 90/91 318is as well as the M3. 21 is M3 specific but will still fit a regular E30 if you have 22 and 23 and a trunk mounted battery. Here's a pic of them on my 91 318is:

Ok great. Thanks. Curious, did you have to move/shift/alter any of the wiring in order to get the piece to fit properly?

No but I did have to cut a notch in the bottom of 21 for the large wiring harness (seen in my pic running parallel and to the left of the strut bar). I even hid the coil wires for the COP behind 21. Remember that my car already had 22 and 23 as OEM. I'm not sure what you'd have to do on a 325.
