ok so well i ripped out my glovebox latch (the one with the key) and im just looking for the plastic part that holds the lock and whatever else i need to swap out my broken one. Or if someone has a euro non-locking one lemme know.

I have one that I can ship to you for $15 shipped.
It is a locking latch. You can use it without locking it, or you can swap in the lock mechanism from your old latch in order to be able to lock it with your key.
