Think it's time to DIY poopsmith and go to the Pnp and join the illegals in your quest

I have shipped probably 5 driveshafts always split. Don't think it was less than $30 per to ship; I use premium shipping and I can afford insurance.

If one cannot afford $30 for shipping a driveshaft perhaps it's time to quit playing the modification game; the new center bearing needed for fitting a e36 driveshaft into an e30 would break your budget and make you cry poopsmith
I was just speculating how much it would be. I could be wrong.

Also, when you're a college student you have to be smart with your money.

I'm not looking for an e36 driveshaft, I'm looking for an e30 driveshaft

And I already have a CSB. There isn't a special CSB for fitting a e36 driveshaft into an e30, its an e30 CSB.

you are looking for the rare bird ETA 86/87 large guibo driveshaft.
I sold mine for $350+shipping; it was so new it had the BMW part number still printed on it. ugly condition ones fetch easy $150- + shipping

I'd highly suggest buying a E36 unit as the U-joints are much NEWER and in better shape. Sometimes PAYING UP does make a big difference; do things once and be done.
      OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

I don't believe they are that rare?
You do have a point about the U-joints being newer.

Hm we will see what I can find.

The e36 shaft runs the e30 CSB backwards correct?

What do the e36 shafts usually run for?

I found a 325e shaft at a pnp that I am gonna try that has a questionable rear u-joint. The E36 ZF shafts don't show up in the yards very often. All of the E36s are 325s with getrag trans.

There are a couple of M3 shafts on eBay right now for ~$150 shipped. Good luck!
