          I apologize for my ignorance
I have never bought one of these before: hence why I asked to see what price you gave me..

Secondly I was just gauging what I saw them for sale on BF.C
I saw a couple go for $75 shipped, another $100, one for $120. Someone was trying to sell it for $300, but with no luck for multiple months.

At least I was trying to keep it in the ballpark ;)

These sell for $200 minimum. You find one cheaper, get it ASAP with no hesitation

Do these require any modification to fit into the existing e30 stock radio housing?

You need to cut the HVAC a bit and add some metal brackets for the anti theft mounting slots that you use an Allen key to move

Call BS; I know what I saw.. I saw more CD43s for cheaper than I saw for expensive; I'll find something for my budget eventually. Right now I see I don't have enough in budget, but that doesn't mean I can't get lucky :-P
