I need a heater core for an 89 325i. The heater core valve in my wife's 89 blew last night, and I'm pretty sure the core needs to be replaced as well, it would explain a lot of coolant issues that the car has been having. I need one is as good of condtion as possible, I just don't have the cash available to buy a new one right now, since the valve itself is around $70. If someone could hook me up with one at a good price, I would very much appreciate it.

If it's the same one used on the 89 or later, I'm interested. James said that early model ones were different, so that being said, I need one for a late model. I can't go out right now and check which one it is, it being very dark, cold and snow covered outside. If someone can shed light on this for me, that would be cool.Originally posted by rs4pro3I have a plastic end capped one out of an 88Comment

Either one is interchangable if you use the right heater valve and inlet pipes.
the one I have is the old style, but I have the valve and pipes, One of the pipes is brand new and it had all new o-rings installed last march. I could do the whole deal for $70 shipped85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker
