    WTB: Coilovers

Decided I want to upgrade. Basically redoing my entire suspension. I'd love some GE coils, 6" 450#/4.5" 650#. Also looking into GC, something in that range. I'd prefer shorter springs to longer ones (sub 5" rear, 5-6 front). Let me know what you have. I don't need any shocks/struts. Budget depends on what you have, but definitely sub $300.

I don't think those will fit an e30 properly

It's $400 (not $300) but it's all new and direct from GC.

What diameter springs do your JOM's take? You could just get new springs for them and keep the adjusters, then get better shocks.

That would be ideal and it's what I may do. I'm planning to redo my entire suspension with the money i'm making from the parts car (x-brace, all new solid bushings, camber correction, new coils, new control arms, shocks/struts...) but I have a budget to work within, and if I can save a hundred or two at some of the major steps it all adds up.

The main problem is that the JOMs use stock spring hats, so I'd also have to get those. I also have no rear adjusters or top hats since it's not a barrel spring.

Yes, JOM front, 8kg megan springs in the rear. Once I get my new setup I'll sell you these if you're interested. All you'll need are camaro rear shocks ($50 for the pair). It's a very decent setup.

Decided to go with this. I'm matching GCMARK's e30 cabrio rates but went down slightly on the front rates to compensate for my lighter m42.
