                      Why? In theory it should help direct the air around/under the car. I think it'll hope flow through the radiator too since it should remove the low pressure area behind the radiator. Who knows man, we'll see what happens. I'm certain the guys in Bavaria put it there for a reason... I'm just hoping it helps with something. hahaha

                        Sorry for opening an old thread,but I've been searching for 2 days and just found out i was calling it a belly pan,engine shield,splash guard and what ever else..
                        But is there any how to's or pics on how to remove this i see 2 bolt in front under the fender on each side do i just pull back from the slots and pull back or is there more to it then that..

                          there are a couple bolts that hold it from the sides in the wheel well and some that hold it from underneath, you do have to flex it to pull it off the studs in the wheel well but its pretty self explanatory once you start pulling out the nuts and screws.

                            the ones on the side i can't cause the front tires are still on but i do see 2 in front in front of the tires.Do i remove them too....here a best pic that i have..



                            here the front bolts and the slots.....





                            Also this last pic am i missing some bolts here the other side looks the same too.Maybe missing some clips or is that the 2 bolts you were talking about from underneath...
