Aren't the driveshafts different on earlier vs late 325i/is models?

I have a never-used-still-in-the-shipping-tube rebuilt driveshaft for an 89 325is that i never ended up using. The center bearing hoop got bent during shipping so i'd planned on just getting a new bearing assembly instead of trying to straighten the bent one - then the car got totalled out before i got to that point (13 years ago).

I think i still have the 5-speed transmission from that car too. I parted the car out 13 years ago and still have a lot of stuff in storage.
