Thanks for the info. do you know if there is a way to confirm what it is? Why wouldn't the cover come off easy? This would be a problem I want to be able to switch from covered to uncovered easily.

getting your fingers in there? Some have run them. I'd just laminx them or clear guard them.

Oh if its that big of a pain I'd just carry a mini pick tool in the glove box.
