Well we tried my radio in nyy e90's non-premium '89 (no amp in the trunk) and we could barely hear any sound with the volume turned all the way up. He had tried another one previously and the same thing happened.
We're thinking that this particular model of radio has a line-level output and only works in cars with the premium sound system (with the amp in the trunk). It worked fine in my 325is (premium sound with amp). Anyone know for sure?Randy Walters
