    WTB(orrow): Lockstrip tool.

I was hoping that someone could lend me the tool for the time I need to get my front and rear lockstrips back on, seeing as other ideas to get them to go back in did not work.

I will pay for shipping both ways, and please, its a small tool, don't tell me it costs $20 to ship it. I just don't have the time to go out and get one (about a hour and a half's time).

    PM me please.

That stupid shit didn't work. (Regarding the diagram above).

Dave cannot find it in his garage, so he says. Spoke to him about this a while back...

just use a screw driver...did it to my back window when I had to replace it and on my friends car. He couldn't do it w/ his tool. BTW his lockstrip was brand new (means its straight) and I got it in w/ a screw driver. Take your time and save the $ for other tools ;)

Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to buy the tool?

Edit - Answered my own question. $17.95 from BavAuto.

As mentioned before Harbor Freight has it too as well as Sears toolzones and Mom and Pop style autoparts places.

did you get the first inch or two set before putting it in the clothes hanger? The pointed part of the hanger is supposed to help spread the gasket apart.
