I need a fuse tray/wiring box for my 1988 325iC. The part number is: 61131386387 for the tray according to Real OEM and I can use a tray from any of the following cars:

Please take photographs and share your progress / difficulties you run into. This looks to be quite a job! Unsoldering and re-soldering all those connections (oh my!).
Something I'd like to do though. My aux fan contacts shorted to the car frame and melted the Bakelite in the area of fuse 18.


Why the fuse didn't blow is beyond me.

Yeah, I have one of those with my A/C slot. Which then blew when I replaced the alternator. So now I have to swap boxes to replace the fuse.
