    Royalblau trunk lid...

Scotty has a white trunk lid on his cabby.

Scotty doesn't want to paint it because a) costs too much, and b) will look funny with a nicely painted rear trunklid, and the rest of the car not.

Anyone have one? NON cabby (aka no third brakelight. :))

I found a local friend of a friend that will spray the whole car, for only $600. But, I still can't confirm what color I want to go with. There are thoughts of alpine and calypso and royalblau all through my head...and I don't have the $600 just yet anyways ;)

Here't the problem with staying blue.

1 - darker color, harder to keep clean, harder to hide flaws, etc. Granted, calypso aint much better.

2 - interior color choices. This here is my hardest problem. I don't want black - too hot, and I'll be leaving my top down as much as possible. That leaves grey (not a BAD choice, but not my favorite), tan (again, like grey, it would work, but meh...), or blue (yuck.) The other color I was considering was red - it'd look pretty good with the blue, and if I decide to do alpine, it'd be the hottest thing since sliced bread IMO - I saw an e46 vert in alpine with red leather interior - so nice.
