Its in German off course because it has not been changed to US output.
Do this. Insert the Key in the ignition. Turn it to the On position. Not the start position. Then press AVG MPG on the OBC. Insert a paperclip or something in the OBC reset hole. then press it again and again. you will see the output change from MPH to KM and so forth. If you leave it at MPH all your display readings will be in US format.
If you play with it you may as well play with it in US digits! :0
the BUTTONS are in german dear :) I know how to switch from US to metric!
