    Hood release cable 89 e30 iX

    Realoem shows the part but not the part number. 89 325iX (it's probably the same for all e30, but I won't make that assumption again... They changed some weird stuff on the iX).

    Anybody got one, or know the #?

                  Thanks for the response. For future reference, my local BMW dealer tells me the part number is: 51 231 884 281, and it's common to all e30.

                  I have a couple of people that have offered the whole set up (handle to release) that I'm corresponding with. If those don't work out, I'll be in touch.
