    WTB: SETA 2.7i

    Looking to buy any of the following

    1988 SETA Pistons

    1988 SETA B27 Long Block (Entire Head+Block)

    1988 SETA B27 Short Block (Entire Block)


    Blew my motor in a crash; just looking to swap it out with something in the meantime to get me road worthy again.

    Mainly looking for strictly SETA Pistons now as I have found a source for the 885 Head. HOWEVER; I am still much more interested in an entire SETA if someone has one to sell

                  Any Pistons?

                  Currently changed interested and only looking for package deals (whole short/long block). I found people to source an 885 Head/Eta Bottom end from; only interested in SETA Pistons as of now; edited OP

                      I have a full running SETA long block from an automatic 88 528e. also have a number of nice 885 i heads fully assembled with cams etc. $600 for the entgine.

                          Couldn't you just grab one from Bavarian Recycling right there in Rancho Cordova? Or better yet, European Auto Recyclers also in RC?
                          I have dealt with both before and my seta was like $695 complete, tested, out the door.

                              I haven't tried calling them honestly. I didn't know they stocked SETAs or even knew the difference. $695 tested is a steal

                              Could potentially cut most of my hassle in half

                                  If you are willing to wait a few months, my seta will be coming out when I do my swap.

                                      Looks like European Auto has them for $749 (little bit more of a premium now) out the door with 6 month warranty

                                      Puts me right around budget, however, they don't have any in stock. Still willing to deal with a member if they have a complete set up ready to go

                                                          I have seta pistons rods and crank that I was gonna use but now I'm going s52. I'm gone for xmas but when I get back I'l give you all of it just pay for the shipping:) Merry Christmas
