Anyone ???? I know someone has a (IS) front lip for late model e30s. I have a 91 318is that has no front lip or fogs. I figured I would start with the lip because ground effect clearence looks horrible.

It can be a stock lip or a aftermarket. If anybody has a lip for a is I'll take a look at it and we can maybe make a deal

I've got an ebay iS lip on mine. Same situation as you, I had no lip on the car so just wanted something. I had read on here beforehand that they suck, "only lasted a week then spontaneously shattered into 1000 pieces" blah blah blah.

I figured for $80 shipped I'd give it a shot (bought all new clips elsewhere). Gotta say, no complaints here. It's molded in black, so I didn't have to paint it. Fit ok, clipped into all the clips with a little messing around (my valence isn't perfectly straight), and has been on the car for about 6 months now. Even made it through some pretty heavy snowstorms where I'm sure it was pushing snow around at times.

If the car was really nice I'd probably go OEM, but for a regular daily I'm fine with the ebay special. Just figured I'd share my experience.

Thank you very much for this write up. I was thinking of getting one as well but wasn't sure how well they were.
