    M10 fz 3hp22 tranny needed

Ok so I just finished a complete engine swap and apparently crushed the tranny pump while trying to install it onto the car... Didn't know it was a different set up for install than usual including the need for shimming. Anyway I need to find a basic 3 speed tranny in good working order off of an m10 engine.

    If you're interested in upgrading to a 4hp22 off a '85 318i, PM me...

Earlier (pre 9/84 build) M10 318i automatics were ZF 3hp22 3-speeds, but late '85s had the ZF 4hp22 4-speed. My car is a 2/85 build date, and definitely has the 4hp22 without the "EH" electronic controls. The extra gear and lockup torque converter are a nice upgrade, thus my offer.

Since the 4hp22 was only used on the late '85 cars, there are a lot more 318i 3hp22 cars.

            4HP22 useage on USA M10 e30s:

Would one from a m30 bolt up? I believe the bell holdings are the same. If so have a lot more cars with the 4hp22.
