    WTB: Small case 4.10 LSD

    Got one!


    Purchased a small case 4.10 LSD from another 318is last year, but upon pulling it apart to install new clutches, found the internals are completely fubar :( I need another small case 4.10 LSD to re-assemble the rear of my car. Willing to purchase just the limited slip unit itself if it makes shipping easier as well. Let me know what you have!

      medium case bolts right in on the 91 iS. I have a 4.10 torsen out of an iX with about 100k on it. awesome shape. $350 shipped.

          I have one that I just purchased but the pinion seal started leaking 100 miles after install. other than that its awesome. I just dont want to rebuild it, as I found another one. It only has 125k on it according to the seller (Shane Snyder- RIP) If your interested I would let it go for a reasonable price. Lock up was awesome.

              Wanting to keep the small-case unit for the weight savings. The M42 in the car won't need the added beefiness of the medium case :-D
