WTB: Full e30 318is Suspension and more (Clemson, SC)

    Hello all!

I am not really new to the community, but I was never active on the forums. I recently acquired a 318is that has seen better days. I replaced the gas tank, fuel pump, all the lines, a few brake lines, rebuilt an axle, cleaned up the engine bay, and I am currently working on the engine...a broken waterpump bolt discouraged me recently :ohsnap:

Anyway, I have turned my mind to the suspension now because I would like to gather all the parts that I need. I have made a list and done research on the prices. I know what things go for new, and I am basically interested in only new parts, but I feel that it could be beneficial to both myself and others to buy slightly used parts. Why waste money and give to a company what another e30 owner could be reimbursed for? Thats the idea behind this thread.

    The list:

    Coilovers or shock/spring setup

E36 Tie Rod Locking Plates (8.99 each)

E36/E46/Z3/Z4 Steering Rack (17x.xx rebuilt from rackdoctor

Good m42 engine parts (guide chains, timing covers, etc)

    skid plate

    Sway bar bushings

You wouldnt happen to be the guy with the pawn shop right there at the edge of clemson and central on 93? There is a guy with a pawn shop there called the Central Trading Post and he has several e30s. Might be worth going to talk to him about parts if your looking.

Yeah, I am not that guy, but I know him. Rod is pretty cool, but last time I talked to him he didn't have many parts available. I am going to look into a warehouse in Spartanburg later this week.

Hey man if you need some parts and wanna make a short drive head down to ATL. Well actually its norcross so even closer than driving all the way into the city. Anyway its the Consignment Shed. They part a lot of e30s. Call and talk to them there.

          Store Location Information

          3145 Gateway Drive Suite A,
          Norcross, GA 30071

          Main Number: 678-561-5735

How far of a drive to birmingham is it for you? About 4 hours? If so hit up vines auto there. They have a huge BMW salvage yard.
