As the title states, I need would like to find a set for my 2.7 stroker since some people have recommended them versus the e flat top pistons.

Bump! Looking to build a 2.7i in the meantime just to get my car running. My budget is 100 max shipped.

contact member 'sir otto". He has a great looking set that I was going to buy until I found that the 885 head I purchased was a piece of junk. I know you stated $100 max, but these show little to no wear.

Having just finished a 2.7i build with the stock eta bottom end and flat top pistons...
Don't be afraid of the flat top pistons. Keyboard engineers that put down the combo after doing some quick math and came up with OH NOES LOST COMPRESSION AND IMPROPER SQUISH!!!!! are vastly overstating the problems. Would a 2.7i build with seta pistons perform slightly better? Of course. But so would a myriad of other modifications to increase performance. The budget stroker is a huge step up from the eta, and a step up from the i engine in driveability. (Again, the keyboard engineers who saw some dyno plots obsess over peak hp, not actual driveability throughout the rev range).

If you have a spare $100 to put into the build, I would put that towards a regrind cam from bimmerheads instead of seta pistons.
