Yes, you read correctly. My other car just either cracked or warped the head (to be determined when I pull the head) and at 200k miles, I'm ready to just drop a new engine in it. Anyone have one within say, 200 miles of Winston-Salem, NC (27106). The lower the price the better, but will entertain all possibilities.

I don't think chattanooga is within 200 miles but I've got an 86 325e engine in the garage, great running condition 160-170k miles I believe.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

I plan on doing that Monday, I just wanted to test the waters here first. And to clarify, this is going in an '89 325i automatic, so I would prefer a late model engine that wouldn't need the cooling system swapped over.
